Course Description

The Bachelor of Nursing is a professionally accredited degree providing eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. As a registered nurse, you will work in a wide diversity of clinical areas within health care including mental health, community health, acute and chronic care.

In this course, you will explore the concepts, principles and practices of nursing in areas such as:
cultural safety in practice, in particular to address the needs of Indigenous and multicultural Australians
population health for the prevention, early detection and management of chronic diseases
evidence-based care.
You will have the knowledge, skills and practical experience to work as an ethical, compassionate and qualified registered nurse. Your multidisciplinary skills will be valuable in diverse local, national and global roles.
