Read moreAs part of the course, you must attend and pass a one-week simulation block for every year of full time equivalent study. You must also complete clinical placement units, these are dependent upon availability of placements with approved health care providers. Whilst the University will endeavour to place you within the semester in which you are enrolled, this cannot be guaranteed. It is a requirement of the course that you only attend clinical placements at the time and place approved by Charles Darwin University. Failure to accept an arranged placement will result in delayed progression and completion of this course.
On successful completion of your degree, you can apply to the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board for registration as a nurse, enabling you to work across Australia directly with individuals, families and communities.
