Course Description

This course offers more than just an accounting qualification. You'll develop your business skills along with an awareness of ethics, human rights, sustainability and public policy issues.

In first year you'll study business foundation disciplines including economics, financial management, management, and analytics, and start in-depth studies of contemporary issues in accounting. To ensure our content is up-to-date, we work closely with global corporations like Deloitte and PwC.

You can also complete one or two minor from areas within the Business School, or up to eight elective subjects for a second major. Electives include an Accounting International Study Tour, internships and languages.

We have connections with universities in over 40 countries, including top international business schools like the University of Innsbruck and the Berlin School of Economics, and we encourage you to participate in student exchange and study abroad programs, many of which are financially supported.

Positives: All the instructors are very professional and well experienced, the campus is very big and the library facilities, especially online are very good. No complains about the course structure, all the core subjects are great and they have a good application in the market, and we have a wide range of electives to pick.

The positive aspects of the course is flexibility and because there are many students studying either accounting or economics, there are many lectures and tutorials to select to build how you want your timetable to be. Language barriers. There have been numerous tutors that haven’t had the strongest English, there is also quite a number of international students that don’t understand the wording or language therefore the tutor spends majority if not all of the class teaching them what it actually says instead of the content

Would've liked to have more contact hours for classes. Feel as though there's too much online content.

My advice to future students is: The bachelor of Accounting has been not too bad however i wouldn't not recommend majoring in financial planning
