Course Description

In today's fast-moving and complex business environment, a comprehensive understanding of all business functions, in combination with a set of practical skills, will enable you to succeed as an in-demand business professional.

This course will prepare you to become a business professional in a wide range of careers. You'll study a set of extensive and integrated foundation units that will orient you to business, and then you'll complete one or two majors to develop depth in your chosen discipline.

Positives: I enjoy how broad my course is, as it gives an outlook into the whole business sector as a whole. It gives students a lot of freedom to pick a major or even two which interests them and then adds a more narrow focus into this area. The positives are the flexible subjects you can choose and the hours.

Negatives are the amount of work and a lot of group assignments. It can be quite demanding at times.

My advice to future students is: I think to choose a major that is challenging and not too generic - it's a good better to stand out.

Positive - Macquarie offer an international exchange program that is competitive to get into - but if you get the chance definitely do this exchange program, you get to study in places like America on a full scholarship and experience a whole new country and their education system.

Positive - this is an amazing location and facilities, large and vast. People are friendly and the tutors were always willing to help most of the time

I found this course was ok. There's a good spread of subjects, but that can also be a trap. Often the more interesting ones/detailed ones are final year subjects.

There are some examples, but given the competitiveness of the job market, they could make assessments much more practical and up to date - helping students move...
