Course Description

Business executives with an expertise in commerce are valued for their comprehensive understanding of all business functions. Psychology professionals seek to understand how the mind works and why people behave the way they do, as well as to provide strategies that can help people live happier, healthier and more productive lives.

This double degree will allow you to explore the science of psychology, including cognitive processes, psychological assessment, development and learning. Your ability to apply this knowledge in a business setting will make you highly employable in people-focused business areas, particularly in marketing and human resource management.

The commerce component of this degree allows you to choose from nine majors to develop specialist knowledge in a chosen discipline, or to combine two majors to expand your options.

You'll have opportunities to undertake internships with industry and community-based organisations.

The skills you'll gain in the collection, evaluation and critical analysis of data will enhance your employment opportunities in all fields and industries.

This course provides accredited training in psychology, which is applicable to a wide range of careers requiring an understanding of human behaviour.
