Course Description

Medical researchers are a lot like detectives. As they search for leads, disregard suspects and ultimately solve mysteries, they also have the thrill of knowing that each scientific discovery they make in the lab may one day turn into a pioneering real-world medical treatment.

This interdisciplinary course will provide you with the broad background in the biological, chemical and biomolecular sciences you'll need for a rewarding career whether that be unravelling the molecular building blocks that underpin disease, developing new drugs to treat or cure disease, or applying your scientific knowledge to help solve crimes.

Our wide range of units allows you to build on your skills in either the biomedical, biomolecular or medicinal chemistry fields.
This course provides a solid background for postgraduate study in medical and allied health areas.
