Positives: It gives you deep insights in to practicing account and the applications of it in various sectors
My advice to future students is: For those who have some experience in accounting, it is a better opportunity
Poor facilities, could be upgraded. Teaching isn't the best probably due to class size but it is the course to achieve my future career. SLAM program is really good too.
My advice to future students is: Work hard
Positives: It really lacks the fundamental aspects of basic learnings from the actual course or to be more specific, the subject itself, but it was a good course overall. I majored in networking and security, but it's up to what project and assignments you performed, that gets you where you are now. My teachers overall and most of them were great.
Negatives: Too much reading for example in a programming language course. Not taught the know how, and relied on us to read the slides without an understanding or examples it's why I avoided doing programming as my major
My advice to future students is: Complete your assignments early and always ask the teacher how to do certain things. Go home and Google guidelines and such on how to do it because going to university needs you to teach yourself
Positives: Lectures were great and the course sets you to be ready to work in the real world.
Negatives: the environment wasn't as motivating.
My advice to future students is: Don't give up!
Life after uni can be difficult, especially landing the right job for you. It will take time. Be patient.
I thought the trainers were good, although they should explain better. Also, some more close one on one help would be beneficial for a lot of students.
My advice to future students is: this is a good way to add to on the job learning.
It was a good course, with relevant content and relevant teachings.
Fantastic teachers that have helped largely when it comes to giving good advice to help complete assessment.
My advice to future students is: stay on top of software updates
The course as a whole is quite good if your interested in following a career path in writing and/or editing, for me at the time, i was interested in journalism however the course was more focused towards author type writing, so in the end i was very bored of the course and was very happy to have just finished it as it wasn't what i was looking for, but like i said if want to become an author or an editor, it is quite an extensive course that covers a wide variety of topics
My advice to future students is: Always take on the advice given to you by the teachers in regards to your pieces of work as you will definitely see improvement in writing if you do
I really liked all the hands on work we were able to do. You are taught the tools of trade straight up without any fluff around. Enough theory to keep you learning but not too much.
My advice to future students is: If you’re interested in animals this is an awesome course
Lots of hands on experience. I got to learn many new skills about bricklaying and new techniques and how to use different tools. Really insightful and Interesting
My advice to future students is: Do what you want and if you’re good at it stick to it. Don’t do something you hate
Positive is that I am happy with my studies as I have reached this far and
Negative - sometimes it's really challenging and difficult to understand.
My advice to future students is: Pursue you career at your best as it is in your hands to make your future brighter.
