Positives: Able to help the elderly
Negatives: Ive done my course online so this was the negative side of it.
My advice to future students is: Never do online studies
Positives: It’s online so it’s easy to do because I can still work a lot and get some studying done
Negatives: The online aspect can get confusing and a little tricky to navigate
My advice to future students is: Put away at least 1 full day a week to study, especially if you’re working a lot
Positives are it's delivered completely online and provides great detail and lots of prompt support from trainers.
Negatives are that I sometimes find I don't have all the information I would like/need and end up googling it
My advice to future students is: If it suits you try study this course at an actually school/campus
Learning at my own pace and in my own time via external study was brilliant. The course is tailored to external study and works well compared to universities that adapt their courses for external study.
It was difficult at times to maintain contact with the course tutor and to gain access to the future content of the course to stay ahead of the game.
The course itself did exactly what I wanted, it took me from a beginner photographer to feeling competent to charge money for my skills. It also enhanced my ability to design content around my images - articles, web pages, posters etc.
My advice to future students is: Be proactive in getting access to the future material and use the course text books!
Positive - How accessible the content is and the help offered
My advice to future students is: Study what interests you!
