Course Description

Make a real difference to the lives of people in need and their families. Prepare for a career in aged care, disability, and home and community care.

Build the right skills to support people with special care needs to live full lives and maintain connections with their communities.

Focusing on person-centred care approaches you will learn skills, techniques and procedures to meet the needs of individuals. Your learning will be guided by staff who have substantial professional experience in the care industry.

Practical experience
As part of your studies, you will have the opportunity to apply your learning through an extended work placement with an industry provider. This is a great opportunity to practise your skills under professional supervision and meet with a potential future employer.
