Course Description

When you complete the Certificate III in Cabinet Making you'll be ready for a career as a furniture maker or cabinet maker.

You will gain the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the furnishing industry, using hand and power tools, operating industrial machinery, CNC processing centres, producing angled and curved furniture, applying decorative surfaces, selecting timber, preparing surfaces, interpreting plans, measuring, calculating the right amount of materials for the job, and workplace health and safety.

The Certificate III in Cabinet Making is an apprenticeship: you must be employed in a training contract by an appropriate organisation to study.

The positive side of the course: I love doing it. It's easy and enjoyable.

The negative part is the course goes on for to long.

My advice to future students is - Is to start straight away after you finish your high school but if you didn't finish high school start straight away
