After reading through Swinburne University reviews, some of the advice and tips we hear from students include:
Attend lectures - they are available online but attending is always best;
Some courses get more interesting and specific in later years so stick with it;
If you need help or clarification don't be afraid to ask your eLA's in the Discussion Boards;
Be ready to leave your comfort zone;
If you're offered to undertake IBL/Professional Placement, go for it straight away. Once you're done, ask to stay on until you've completed your studies;
Try to undertake projects related to your course/field - it's a great way to get more practical training;
If you're studying through Swinburne online, make sure you organise your time well.
Make a commitment to your study - grades can make a difference;
You need to get in early if you want to borrow text books from the library;
