Turn your compassion for animals into a career in Veterinary Nursing? The Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing will help you to develop the skills needed to perform veterinary nursing duties in a variety of workplace situations under minimal supervision. You'll learn to admission and discharge patiients, office procedures, radiography, pathology, surgery, dental procedures, nursing animals and providing animal care advice to the public. Before enrolling in this course it is recommended that you have access to an animal care workplace either voluntary or paid to support your learning.

I'm studying this at Bankstown tafe.

Positives: Being able to learn about veterinary nursing and having practicals to widen my skills

Negatives: The teachers are not very organised

My advice to future students is: It’s a great course and I would highly recommend it for people wanting to get into the field of animal care
