Course Description

CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is part of the Community Services Training Package. It reflects the role of an educator in a range of early childhood education setting. As an educator you will work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. Educators implement the approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and the children’s overall development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

This qualification is for educators who will provide care for children birth to 5 years in an early childhood education and care setting whether that is as a family day care educator or in a long day care centre. The educators plan and implement programs that will enable children to learn through play in a safe and supported environment. Educators work in partnership with families to provide individual care for their children.

To enrol in this program you will need:

to be involved in a an information and suitability process
be able to satisfy a Department of Justice, Working With Vulnerable People Check
to participate in work placement in an Early Childhood Education and Care environment
