Positives: The uni I attend provides more opportunities for prac within a school more than any other uni I know. It's a smaller uni which allows lecturer to develop more meaningful relationships with students

Positives: I really enjoy how much class room time i get during my placements. It allows me to gain invaluable experience that i will be able to draw from when i am a graduate teacher

Negatives: i do not enjoy the logos program which is a mandatory theology, ethics and philosophy subject at notre dame

Positives: The amount of practical experience, knowledgable teachers and mentors and limited people in each class

Negatives: No special education unit and some non-education units

My advice to future students is: Always have the lecture before you tutorial when choosing your classes

Positive: Great theology from the compulsory units and there is a great sense of community.

Negative: As a guy, the course feels very weighted towards women and there is a feminist/left wing bias to the course.

Positive: all educators are incredibly helpful and are great with guidance - quick replies and consistently make you feel like you’re achieving something

Negatives: 3x 10 week pracs are unrealistic when you are trying to work and provide for yourself but you can’t- they are just too hard
