From a personal point of view, theology may be seen as faith’s search for understanding; for an understanding of who God is, of who we are, and what we and our world can become in and through relationship with God.
It explores, among others, such important issues as the nature of God, his revelation in Jesus Christ, the nature of personal identity and of humanity, human origins and destiny, Christian community and God’s presence with us now in the HolySpirit.
The MA(Theology) degree program for Notre Dame Sydney has been constructed with unit alternatives selected to serve the professional needs and interests of a range of appropriately qualified students, including teachers of religious education. The program combines coursework units and a Research Project.
