Course Description

Studying business is about learning how you can contribute directly to an organisation's success, measured by the overall benefit this brings to the community. Given a business degree is sought after by employers, a Bachelor of Business is a great choice for students who want to explore their career options, or complementing with another study theme in a combined degree as strategy to maintain a competitive edge in the graduate employment market.

A Bachelor of Business provides you with a sound understanding of economic and management fundamentals. You will learn how to devise and implement new strategies, respond to opportunities and meet the challenges of an ever-changing and increasingly complex world.

You will engage with teaching staff who are experts in their field and guest lecturers who work in the business community, and who have strong relationships with industry, academia, and government to add value to your learning.

Positive: The course work is highly relevant and not typical higher education giving you all theory and no practical
Negative: The lack of community at Utas for the accounting majors (unless you're in 3rd year was disappointing
