Positives: As an Arts student at UOW the possibility to diversify is unmatched. Across the last two semesters I've studied intro to Astronomy, Philosophy, Indigenous Studies, Australian History, and Colonial Literature. Unparalleled expert advice from the professor's has me feeling extremely lucky to be where I am.

Negatives: As a mature aged student the most negative thing I have to interact with is the 18 year olds. I often feel like a babysitter walking the normies through relatively simple concepts.

My advice to future students is: Don't be afraid to be the loudest or most curious person in the room. No one is giving out prizes for understanding something quicker than the other students in the class; if you don't get it, ask the tutor/lecturer. That's why they're there.
